The Shreveport Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce (SBAACC) serves as an advocate for the creation, growth and general welfare of the African American business in the Shreveport Bossier metropolitan area. Our tentacles reach the business community comprised throughout Northwest Louisiana. The SBAACC actively promotes the expansion of public and private sector business opportunities on behalf of its members through referrals, partnerships, seminars, technical assistance and marketing. We continue to focus on economic and business development, education, convention/tourism, special projects and member services.
In today's economic climate, it is imperative and very necessary for our businesses to become more visible and more competitive. The SBAACC assists businesses, business professionals, and community residents by providing a host of services that add to the business proficiency of our membership. (A list of services is itemized in the Benefits section.)
Our members participate in various local business committees to gain information and let the community know of the existence of the Black Chamber. Additionally, the Black Chamber serves as a resource center and is often contacted by other groups that are searching for more diverse representation on their focus groups, committees and boards. Thus, we serve the needs of both the Shreveport Bossier metropolitan community at large, and not solely the African-American community. The Shreveport Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce (SBAACC) serves as an advocate for the creation, growth and general welfare of the African American business in the Shreveport Bossier metropolitan area.
